Check ahead with motels, hotels, resorts or campgrounds where you
intend to stay with your pet. If you are staying with friends, be sure to
ask if your cat is welcome. If you book your travel online, many websites
like Expedia provide listings of pet-friendly accommodations.

• Many allow pet guests and have special facilities, but call to be sure.
• Some hotels and resorts require medical documentation of
  required vaccinations.
• Don’t leave your pet alone more than necessary.
• Respect other guest's privacy and peace by keeping your cat quiet
  and in check.
• Provide for adequate, familiar litter and replace it frequently. Carry pick-up
bags, and a cleaning solution in case of accidents inside (20% white
  vinegar/water works well).
