Managing
your pet’s diet is always a good idea, and even more
important
when they travel. It’s a good idea to bring a jug
of water and food from
home, since changing water and food sources may quickly
bring on
gastrointestinal upsets.
• Feed small amounts before you leave on a trip.
• Make sure your pet has adequate, clean water throughout
the whole trip.
• Give the main meal at the end of the day. Dry food
is more convenient but
if your pet needs canned food, dispose of any unused
portions if they
cannot be refrigerated.
